Welcome to Windermere Lake Cruises - the most popular attraction in Cumbria. Windermere is England's largest lake, in the heart of the Lake District. We offer cruises from 45 minutes to 3 hours - or you can even spend all day on and around the lake with our fantastic 'Freedom of the Lake' ticket.

Buffet Cruises

What could be better than an evening cruise around Lake Windermere on a summers evening with food and entertainment. We run 2 hour evening Cruises from 7 - 9pm from Bowness on one of our majestic 'Steamers'. We advise that you book well in advance by ringing 015394 43360 as these are extremely popular.

Cruise & Walk

This is just one of our most popular walks - 3 boats & a walk! Sail on our traditional wooden launches from Ambleside to Wray Castle then take the shoreline walk, south to Ferry House, board another wooden launch and sail back to Bowness. Stop off for a cake & coffee at the pier before sailing back to Ambleside!

Park & Sail

Everyone is aware of the environment and having a day out that's really good value for money, our Park & Sail offering allows you to arrive at one of our 3 piers, spend a day on and around the lake, returning to your car at the end of a full and fun day out! Parking is available at all of our piers.

Fun Days Out

A sail on the lake is great fun, but why not combine it with another top class attraction? We have combined tickets with Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway, The Lakes Aquarium, Lakeland Motor Museum and Beatrix Potter! Take advantage of the Park & Sail and leave your car for the day.

Join us on board a traditional 'steamer' for a delicious full Christmas Lunch, whether it be for couples, groups of friends, or a staff outing, you will find a great party atmosphere, all this, set against the magical wintery scenery of England's largest lake. With live jazz music to accompany your lunch.
